Chris Jones (groin) headlines Chiefs inactives for Monday Night Football
The Kansas City Chiefs listed defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) as inactive for the team's Monday night game against the New England Patriots.
It's fair to wonder whether Jones would be active tonight if the Patriots were able to start quarterback Cam Newton, but the Chiefs are 11-point favorites with Brian Hoyer leading the New England offense. Other than Jones, the Chiefs will be at near-full strength on Monday.
Jones already has 3.5 sacks this season, as well as 2 quarterback hits per game. His 2 forced fumbles also helped the Chiefs win decisively over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. He's Pro Football Focus' top-rated interior defensive lineman at rushing the passer so far in 2020.
