Davante Adams (hamstring) says he's out for Packers Monday night against Atlanta

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) said he won't play Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.

What It Means:

"Sorry fans and friends I wont be on the field tonight," Adams tweeted. "I’ve done everything I need to do and proved I'm ready but I guess I don’t know my body as well as others." Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be the Packers' de facto No. 1 wide receiver with Adams and Allen Lazard (core muscle) both sidelined. Malik Taylor and Darrius Shepherd should also see spikes in playing time. Aaron Rodgers will also likely target Robert Tonyan and Aaron Jones more often. The Falcons' secondary is just as banged up as the Packers' pass-catchers, so Aaron Rodgers may still be able to capitalize on the plus matchup.

The Falcons are allowing the second-most passing yards per game (350.3) and rank 28th against the pass in numberFire's advanced defensive metrics. They are also allowing a league-high 34.1 FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
