Rahim Moore

Texans expected to release Rahim Moore

Houston Texans free safety Rahim Moore is expected to be released.

What It Means:

Signed to a three-year, $12 million deal last March, Moore was a dud in what'll likely prove his only season in Houston, losing his starting job to ex-cornerback Dre Hal early last November. Releasing Moore will save the Texans over $2 million in salary cap room. Moore could perhaps intrigue the Oakland Raiders. He had the best season of his career under Jack Del Rio with the Denver Broncos in 2014.

In just seven games played this year, Moore racked up 16 combined tackles, two passes defensed, and one interception.
