Nagy names Nick Foles the Bears' Week 4 starter

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy named Nick Foles the team's starter for their Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

What It Means:

Foles came in during the third quarter of Sunday's game and rescued the Bears from 26-10 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons. Foles gave the team new life, throwing for 188 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 bizarre interception call that arguably could have been a fourth touchdown. The Bears are making the right choice here.

Mitchell Trubisky has spent multiple seasons at the bottom of nearly every metric used to rank the leagues quarterbacks, and this move was inevitable after the Bears acquired Nick Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars early on this past offseason. Foles should be a boon for the team's entire offense, including Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller, and even David Montgomery.
