Mason Crosby's extension from Packers seems imminent
Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby, who is an impending free agent, is fully expected to sign a new deal with Green Bay, ESPN reporter Rob Demovsky believes.
The Packers have already extended both defensive end Mike Daniels and defensive tackle Letroy Guion, and Demovsky believes Crosby could be next on the list. Demovsky reports a deal is not "imminent," but he expects negotiations to start at the NFL Scouting Combine next week. Crosby owns a career 80 percent conversion rate.
Crosby was 24 of 28 (85.7 percent) on field goals last season, including 12 of 16 (66.7 percent) from further than 40 yards out and 36 of 36 on extra points.
