Eagles' Carson Wentz produces 2 touchdowns in Week 3's tie with Bengals
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz completed 29 pass attempts for one touchdown and 225 yards in Week 3's tie with the Cincinnati Bengals.
For the third straight week, Wentz continued to struggle with turnovers and his production through the air. On 47 pass attempts against a below-average Bengals' defense, the Eagles' signal caller failed to impress, averaging -0.14 Net Expected Points per drop-back and a season-low 4.8 Yards Per Attempt.
Unless Wentz can continue producing with his legs (season-high 69 rushing yards in Week 3), fantasy players should consider the Philadelphia quarterback as a secondary play until he displays better passing potential. For Week 4's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, Wentz's projection includes 23.1 completions for 232.3 yards and 1.4 touchdowns.
