Kenyan Drake enjoying Cardinals' fast-paced offense heading into Week 3's game against Lions
Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake told reporters this week that "the faster we go the more we end up wearing down the defensive line at the end of the game".
Drake also said, "if you look at the last couple of games in the fourth quarter, at the end of the game we’ve been able to end the game on our own terms." Through two games, the Cardinals have run 75.5 plays, the second-most in the NFL, and the most of any team with a winning record. In Week 3, Drake the Cardinals' fast-paced offense face a Lions defense ranked 28th against running backs in numberFire's advanced stats. His week 3 projection includes 72.9 rushing yards, 27.1 receiving yards, 0.87 touchdowns, and 16.6 FanDuel points.
The Cardinals are 5.5-point favorites over the Lions in Week 3. Their implied team total of 30.5 points is the second-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map. Drake's salary is $6,500 and he is the RB7 in our weekly rankings.
