49ers' Deebo Samuel (foot) to start practicing next week
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is expected to start practicing next week.
Samuel is on short-term injured reserve with a foot injury, making him eligible to return after just three weeks. Now it's not known if he'll be able to suit up in time for the team's Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but any progress regarding his current condition is a good sign. He'll be the top pass-catching option behind George Kittle the moment he sees a live game.
Our models currently project Samuel for 53.07 catches for 709.48 yards and 4.47 touchdowns going forward this season.
