Saints' Michael Thomas (ankle) out for Week 3
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas will not play Sunday in the team's Week 3 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Thomas is out again after missing practice the entire week, so this is no surprise. The Saints offense struggled mightily against the Las Vegas Raiders Monday night in the loss, and they'll have to be better to topple the Green Bay Packers Sunday night. Tre'Quan Smith and Emmanuel Sanders will be the top pass-catchers available out wide.
Green Bay's secondary has been pretty solid through two weeks, ranking 13th in the NFL in adjusted defensive net expected points per pass play.
