George Kittle (knee) a Week 3 GTD for 49ers
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (knee) is a game-time decision for Week 3 against the San Francisco Giants, per head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Kittle seems on track to return after getting in some limited practice reps this week, but concerns about the conditions at MetLife Stadium could cause the 49ers to hold out their star tight end. Jordan Reed led the 49ers with 8 targets last week in Kittle's absence.
The Giants rank 19th against the pass, per numberFire's advanced metrics, and have allowed a total of 7.1 FanDuel points to tight ends this season, fourth-fewest in the league. Kittle put up 7.3 FanDuel points in Week 1.
