Zack Moss (toe) ruled out for Bills in Week 3 versus Rams
Buffalo Bills running back Zack Moss (toe) has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Moss was unable to practice all week. The rookie has averaged 10.5 carries and targets through his first two games while playing nearly half of the offensive snaps. He also has seven red zone rushing attempts to Devin Singletary's three. With Moss out, Singletary is expected to play an every-down role against a Rams defense that ranks 20th in rushing yards allowed per game (128.5). Singletary averaged 115.3 yards from scrimmage last season in the four games that he had at least 20 touches.
Singletary is adding 0.00 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry through two games, compared to -0.32 for Moss. The Rams rank just 28th against the run in numberFire's advanced defensive rankings.
