Parris Campbell reportedly out indefinitely for Colts with PCL injury
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell will be out "indefinitely" after injuring his PCL in a Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, reports Mike Chappell of FOX 59.
Campbell avoided an ACL tear but he's still looking at an extended stay on the shelf. The 2019 second-rounder was also limited to seven games last year due to numerous injuries. Campbell tied for the team lead with 9 targets in Week 1, but it was Mo Alie-Cox (6), Michael Pittman Jr. (6), and T.Y. Hilton (5) leading the way without Campbell on Sunday. The Colts will take on the New York Jets in Week 3.
Campbell is currently leading the Colts receivers with 0.58 Reception Net Expected Points per target, followed by Zach Pascal (0.51). Alie-Cox leads the offense with 1.40 Reception NEP per target.
