Will Fuller fails to draw a target in Texans loss

Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller was not targeted in a 33-16, Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

What It Means:

Fuller is apparently dealing with a hamstring injury as he was seen being stretched out by a trainer on the sidelines during the game. The Texans' preferred deep threat was limited to 62.7 percent of the offensive snaps after he had a 79.7 percent share with 8 catches on 10 targets for 112 yards in Week 1. Brandin Cooks, Jordan Akins, and Randall Cobb each had at least 6 targets on Sunday, combining for 21 total. Keep an eye out for Fuller's status on Wednesday when the Texans release their first injury report for Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers didn't allow anyone to have more than 4 catches or 66 receiving yards in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos.

Assuming that Fuller is healthy for Week 3, numberFire's models currently expect him to draw 7.4 targets versus a Steelers team that currently ranks 4th in pass defense, per numberFire's advanced analytics.
