Colts' Parris Campbell (knee) avoids ACL tear after exiting early in Week 2
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell reportedly avoided an ACL tear after exiting Week 2's game against the Minnesota Vikings early with a knee injury.
Finally, some positive follow-up injury news as Campbell avoids a worst-case scenario after being carted off the field on Sunday. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury and his availability for Week 3 and beyond. For as long as Campbell is sidelined, look for rookie Michael Pittman Jr. to see an increase in opportunities.
Pittman caught 4 of 6 targets for 37 yards in Week 2.
