Rams' Cam Akers (ribs) has been ruled out Sunday
The Los Angeles Rams have ruled running back Cam Akers (ribs) out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Akers suffered the injury after toting the rock three times, and was ruled out not long afterwards. His absence will open up more carries for Darrell Henderson alongside Malcolm Brown.
Akers had 3 carries for 13 yards prior to suffering the injury. Since that time, Brown and Henderson have split the running back workload roughly down the middle.
