Bears' David Montgomery (neck) heading to the locker room
Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the New York Giants with a neck injury.
Montgomery suffered the injury after attempting to leap over a Gaints defender, landing on his neck on the way down. It was a scary sight, but it appears the worst outcome has been avoided.
Montgomery had 5 carries for 23 yards prior to the injury, and caught a 28-yard touchdown as well. With Montgomery sidelined, expect Cordarrelle Patterson and Tarik Cohen to see more carries than usual for the rest of the game.
