49ers' Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring, questionable) officially active Sunday
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring, questionable) is officially active for Sunday's Week 2 game against the New York Jets.
Aiyuk suffered the injury in training camp, but prior to that had been impressing beat reporters with his speed and his ability to get open. The 49ers have the most banged-up pass-catching group in the league right now, so Aiyuk should expect to see as much work as he can handle in his NFL debut.
The 2020 first-round pick specialized in yards after the catch at Arizona State, a skill that should translate to the NFL, especially in the 49ers' offense. Our models project the rookie to score 7.2 fantasy points against the Jets' hapless secondary. He's salaried at $4,900 on FanDuel.
