Devonta Freeman visits with Eagles on Friday
Free agent running back Devonta Freeman visited with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
The Eagles hosted Freeman for a workout on Friday. The Eagles have reportedly been "nibbling" at Devonta Freeman since early in the offseason, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane. Nothing has been agreed to between the two sides, but the Eagles appear to be exploring their options for insurance behind Miles Sanders after Boston Scott and Corey Clement's ineffective performance against the Washington Football Team in Week 1.
Freeman recorded 184 carries for the Atlanta Falcons last season and graded out as Pro Football Focus' 84th best running back.
