Broncos' Phillip Lindsay (toe) officially out for Week 2 clash with Steelers
Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has been officially ruled out for Week 2's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a toe injury.
Lindsay has been downgraded to out as he battles turf toe and will not face the Steelers in Week 2. His availability beyond Week 2 remains unknown. With Lindsay sidelined, Melvin Gordon should see an increase in touches against a Steelers run defense ranked third overall in our NFL Team Rankings. Royce Freeman is also expected to see some work against Pittsburgh after filling in for Lindsay after his injury in Week 1.
The Broncos are 7.0-point underdogs against the Steelers in Week 2. Their implied team total of 16.8 points is the lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
