Ravens' rushing rotation 'to be different every week'
Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said the team's backfield rotation is "going to be different every week."
"We like to keep people guessing so it will happen the way it happens," Roman added. He said pretty much the same thing during training camp. Mark Ingram led the backfield with 10 carries in Week 1 while J.K. Dobbins had 7 and Gus Edwards was granted 4 rush attempts. Dobbins was the only one to score and he did so twice. The Ravens finished with 107 rushing yards in a winning effort. Expect Baltimore to utilize another committee approach in Week 2 against the Houston Texans.
numberFire's models expect Ingram to have 10.0 and Dobbins to have 9.6 carries on Sunday. Edwards is only projected for 1.0 rush attempts. They will take on a Texans defense that ranks 19th in our advanced rushing metric after the first week of the season.
