Miles Sanders (hamstring) on track for Eagles in Week 2
Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (hamstring) is on track to play Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sanders and right tackle Lane Johnson (ankle) are both expected to play after sitting out the season opener. The Eagles managed just 57 rushing yards without Sanders, third-fewest in the NFL in Week 1. The Rams gave up 136 yards on the ground to Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys. Boston Scott and Corey Clement shared backfield work with Sanders sidelined.
Sanders gets a nice draw for his season debut against a Rams defense that was fifth-worst against the run in Week 1, according to numberFire's metrics. Scott lost -0.12 Rushing Net Expected Points per play and Clement lost -0.11 on Sunday, compared to the league average of 0.00 in Week 1.
