Detroit Lions defensive back Desmond Trufant avoided a significant hamstring injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Trufant reportedly has a chance to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, which would provide a boost to a secondary that surrendered three passing touchdowns to the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Our models expect the Lions' defense to allow 28 points to Green Bay in Week 2.
Detroit D/ST's Week 2 projection includes 28.0 points allowed, 2.1 sacks, 0.4 interceptions, and 3.9 FanDuel points.
