"He made some really good plays in that area." Gordon was not heavily involved in the passing game at Wisconsin, but he looked good converting 33 of 37 targets for 192 yards as a rookie. His opportunities in the passing game will always be limited with Danny Woodhead around, but Gordon has proven he is not a liability on passing downs.

It's hard to call Gordon's rookie season anything but a disappointment. Among the 44 running backs with at least 100 carries, he finished 43rd in Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt. Injuries along San Diego's offensive line have to assume some of the blame, and with his first-round pedigree, Gordon is one of the best buy-low candidates out there.
