49ers' Deebo Samuel (foot) placed on injured reserve
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been placed on the injured reserve list with a foot injury.
What It Means:
Samuel, who was ruled out for Week 1 on Friday, will miss a minimum of three games as he continues to recover from offseason foot surgery. The 49ers appear to be taking a cautious approach with Samuel, to ensure he can participate in the season down the stretch and avoid reinjury. Deebo will be eligible to return in Week 4. For this week, with rookie Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) listed as questionable, Kendrick Bourne could see an increase in opportunities against Arizona.
Bourne's Week 1 projection includes 3.6 receptions, 43.7 yards, 0.33 touchdowns, and 8.3 FanDuel points. His salary is $5,700.
