Brandin Cooks (quad) will be limited for Texans if active Thursday
Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (quad) will be limited if he plays against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, per Aaron Reiss of The Athletic.
Cooks "barely participated" during full scrimmages and he missed a lot of training camp reps while dealing with a quad issue. Reiss mentioned earlier this month that Cooks could be eased into the offense to start the season after missing out on offseason reps with new quarterback Deshaun Watson. Kenny Stills should see an uptick in snaps with Cooks limited and/or out.
numberFire's models currently expect Cooks to draw 6.2 targets and score 8.9 FanDuel points versus the Chiefs. He has a salary of $10,000 on the Thursday-only slate.
