Russini: Jadeveon Clowney expected to sign with Titans
Free agent linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans on a one-year deal worth $12 million, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini.
After a long offseason, Clowney's choice came down to the Titans and the New Orleans Saints, with Tennessee expected to land the former first overall pick from the 2014 draft. Clowney will rejoin Titans' head coach Mike Vrabel, who was on the Texans' defensive staff when they drafted Clowney in 2014. He will join a Titans defense that finished last season ranked 16th overall by Pro Football Focus. Clowney graded out as Pro Football Focus' 10th best edge defender last season.
Tennessee D/ST is projected for 6.2 FanDuel points against the Denver Broncos in Week 1.
