Schefter: Mitchell Trubisky reportedly will start at quarterback for Bears
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is expected to start in Week 1's regular season matchup against the Detroit Lions.
According to Schefter, Trubisky will reportedly be named Chicago's Week 1 starter over Nick Foles "due to his progression, leadership and overall performance throughout camp." Expect the Bears to utilize Foles during the regular season if Trubisky were to struggle.
Trubisky's current yearly projection includes 177.8 completions for 1,828.9 yards and 13.0 touchdowns and 32.1 rushing attempts for 139.6 yards and 1.5 touchdowns.
