Alvin Kamara, Saints reportedly 'not far apart'
The New Orleans Saints and running back Alvin Kamara are "not far apart" in contract negotiations, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
What It Means:
The Saints were initially open to trading Kamara for a first-round pick when the running back was absent from training camp but it now looks like the situation will be resolved. Kamara is expected to report to practice on Wednesday. The 25-year-old back is due for some positive touchdown regression in 2020 after only scoring six times on 252 touches last year.
