Saints reportedly open to Alvin Kamara trade
The New Orleans Saints are "open to trading" contract-year running back Alvin Kamara, reports NFL insider Josina Anderson.
This report comes while Kamara has had multiple unexcused absences from training camp. He's currently only scheduled to make $2.133 million in the final year of his rookie deal. There aren't many fantasy situations superior to the Saints, so any move would likely be a downgrade for Kamara's outlook. Latavius Murray is capable of taking over the lead back role if needed.
numberFire's models project Kamara for 217.4 carries, 1,011.0 rushing yards, 77.8 receptions (100.4 targets), 535.5 receiving yards, and 14.0 touchdowns this season. He's the RB6 in our preseason fantasy rankings. This assumes that Kamara is on the Saints in Week 1.
