Receiver Sterling Shepard has 'torched' every Giants cornerback this summer
Wide receiver Sterling Shepard has reportedly 'torched' every cornerback on the New York Giants' roster this summer.
The Giants have one of the most undefined passing attacks in the league heading into the season, with little clarity as to which of their receiving options (if any) will lead the way. While each of Shepard, Golden Tate, Darius Slayton, and Evan Engram have produced in spurts for the team, none did so consistently with Daniel Jones under center.
Shepard seems like the current favorite to lead the team in targets heading into the season, but the fifth-year receiver has had trouble staying healthy so far in his career. He's currently projected as numberFire's WR43 for the season, just ahead of Tate (WR50) and Slayton (WR56). There's potential for plenty of fantasy production in the Giants' offense this year, but consistency and predictability may be hard to come by.
