Bengals' Joe Mixon (migraines) still not practicing
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (migraines) is still not practicing.
At this point, it's fair to be concerned about Mixon's availability for Week 1. Migraines are a frustrating and debilitating condition and can sometimes last quite some time. Mixon has suffered from at least one diagnosed concussion as well. If he does not return to practice before the season begins, expect Giovani Bernard and Trayveon Williams to share the running back workload.
Our models projected Mixon for 284.2 carries and another 42.3 receptions, a massive workload. Even if those opportunities were split between Bernard and Williams, both would become appealing options for fantasy with Mixon sidelined.
