Chargers' Austin Ekeler has 'taken his game to another level'
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said running back Austin Ekeler has 'taken his game to another level.'
The quote came while Lynn was summarizing Ekeler's ascent from an undrafted special teamer to dynamic dual-threat running back. Ekeler has been one of the most efficient backs in the league even when given the lead role, and with Melvin Gordon leaving the team this offseason in free agency, he's expected to have the largest workload of his career in 2020.
Our models project Ekeler to finish with over 1,400 yards from scrimmage and over 9 touchdowns despite the Chargers' uncertainty at the quarterback position. He's currently the RB14 in numberFire's rankings.
