Rapoport: New England's Jarrett Stidham (leg) 'has been battling discomfort'
According to Ian Rapoport, New England Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham (leg) "is not expected to practice much, if at all" on Friday.
Stidham received the day off after recently experiencing leg discomfort. With Cam Newton likely to emerge as the front-runner for the Patriots' starting job, Stidham will need to compete for the backup role with veteran Brian Hoyer.
According to FanDuel's Sportsbook, the New England Patriots are currently priced at +100 on an implied 50% to win the AFC East Division.
