Broncos' T.J. Ward (ankle), Darian Stewart (knee) upgraded to probable
Denver Broncos safeties T.J. Ward (ankle) and Darian Stewart (knee) have been upgraded to probable for Sunday's Super Bowl.
Both were listed as questionable on last week's injury report. Barring setbacks, both are fully expected to play in the Super Bowl. The Broncos should have all their defensive starters against the Carolina Panthers.
Denver finished the regular season first in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. The Broncos will need both players against the red-hot Panthers, who ranked seventh in Adjusted Offensive NEP per play.
