Carolina's Thomas Davis (arm) confirmed as starter
Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis (arm) will start and play in Sunday's Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos, Panthers coach Ron Rivera confirmed.
What It Means:
Davis broke his arm in the NFC Championship game against the Arizona Cardinals, but he quickly had surgery to stabilize the injury.
Davis is a big part of a Panthers' defense which has a superb season. Carolina finished 2015 ranked second in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
