Pats place Sony Michel (foot) on active/PUP list
The New England Patriots have placed running back Sony Michel (foot) on the active/PUP list.
What It Means:
There have been rumblings this offseason that Michel could potentially miss time at the start of this season, and this official move by the team does nothing to dispel that notion. We'll find out more as the season approaches, but expect to see running backs like Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead climbing in ADP in the coming weeks.
Michel has been hampered by injuries since entering the league, starting with a pre-draft rumor of a 'bone-on-bone' situation with one of his knees. However, if Michel gets the green light in the early stages of camp, he's likely a solid bet to break 200 carries this season. He's currently numberFire's RB35 and is projected for 186.8 carries and 748 rushing yards.
