Jets release offensive guard Brian Winters on Sunday

The New York Jets have released right guard Brian Winters on Sunday.

What It Means:

Winters will be become a free agent after the Jets released the 29-year old guard on Sunday. By letting Winters' contract go, the Jets will reportedly save around $7.2 million of cap space.

Expect Greg Van Roten to start at right guard this upcoming season. In 704 offensive snaps in 2019, Van Roten allowed one sack and recorded a 65.6 Pro Football Focus rating.
