Green Bay's Julius Peppers plans to play in 2016
Green Bay Packers defensive end/outside linebacker Julius Peppers plans to play in 2016, Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports.
The 36-year-old Peppers is owed $8 million in salary and bonuses with a cap hit of $10.5 million, but he is coming off his most productive season since 2012. There has been speculation Green Bay could cut him, but they will likely need his help on the outside with linebackers Nick Perry and Mike Neal scheduled to be free agents.
Peppers -- who, incredibly, has not missed a regular season game since 2007 -- had 36 tackles and 10.5 sacks in 2015. Green Bay finished 11th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
