The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed third-round rookie pick Ke'Shawn Vaughn on their reserve/COVID-19 list.
Vaughn's placement on the list means that either he tested positive for the virus, or has been in contact with someone who recently tested positive. Hopefully Vaughn is feeling well and will be ready to hit the ground running in what will be one of the most closely-watched backfields in the NFL for fantasy purposes this season.
Vaughn has to unseat the incumbent starter in Ronald Jones to have significant fantasy value this season for the Bucs, something no running back has really achieved since Doug Martin. Our projections do have him (RB29) with a slight lead over Jones (RB35) in workload, with his 184 carries to Jones' 169. If one back can consolidate that workload and earn a dominant role, he will be a highly valuable player for fantasy this season.
