Washington's Antonio Gibson inks rookie contract
The Washington Football Team signed No. 66 overall pick running back/wide receiver Antonio Gibson to a four-year contract.
Gibson could see a larger role than initially expected following Kelvin Harmon's ACL tear. The third-rounder primarily played wide receiver in college, but he's also expected to see some snaps out of the backfield in Washington. Head coach Ron Rivera previously compared Gibson to his former running back Christian McCaffrey.
numberFire's models project Gibson for 30.0 carries and 25.8 receptions (36.0 targets) for 319.0 offensive yards and 1.8 touchdowns this season.
