Antonio Brown implies retirement again
Free agent wide reciever Antonio Brown indicated on Twitter that he's done playing football.
Brown said that "the risk is greater than the reward" at this point and expressed appreciation to followers and fans. It's worth noting that Brown has also announced his retirement two other times since September and also threatened retiring another time. Brown's latest announcement comes after ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Monday that the Seattle Seahawks did a "deep dive" on the veteran receiver. The veteran receiver turned 32 earlier this month.
Brown had an average depth of 11.1 yards on just 8 targets last season. His 0.68 Reception Net Expected Points per target would have ranked 22nd out of 30 receivers with at least 100 targets. In 2018, Brown's 7.7 yards per target represented a six-year low and second-worst number of his career.
