Denver will have Darian Stewart (knee), T.J. Ward (ankle) for Super Bowl
Denver Broncos safeties Darian Stewart (MCL) and T.J. Ward (ankle) are fully expected to play in Super Bowl 50.
Neither starter's availability is in doubt. It's their effectiveness which is in question. Stewart is playing through a "minor" MCL sprain while Ward is dealing with an ankle he's injured multiple times. Facing Greg Olsen, Denver's safeties will have their hands full.
Denver finished the regular season first in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Carolina ranked seventh in Adjusted Offensive NEP per play.
