Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson 'the best he's ever been'
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll believes quarterback Russell Wilson is currently 'the best he's ever been,' but wants the team to remain balanced.
Carroll gave a nod to the popular 'Let Russ Cook' catchphrase, but emphasized that he believes the Seahawks play their best when the achieve offensive balance. The Seahawks have stubbornly been one of the run-heaviest teams in the league for several years now despite Wilson's MVP-caliber skills, and it looks like they will continue to be run-heavy in 2020.
Carroll wasn't wrong in saying that Wilson's play is the best it's ever been. Wilson has posted absurd adjusted yards per attempt of 8.8 over the past two seasons and has carried the team with his elite passing efficiency. He is currently numberFire's QB4 for the 2020 season and is projected for 314.71 FanDuel fantasy points.
