Giants' Evan Engram (foot) running in workout
New York Giants tight end Evan Engram (Lisfranc surgery) was seen running in a video posted on social media.
It's the first on-field work Engram has been seen doing since undergoing foot surgery in December. The 2017 first-round pick has missed 13 games over the past two seasons due to injuries. However, the former first-round pick has proven to be effective when healthy. His career-high 58.4 yards per game last season was sixth-most among all tight ends and he cleared 100 yards twice in eight games. Engram also had at least 4 catches and 40 yards in all but one contest. Assuming Engram is healthy for the start of the season, he's expected to be one of Daniel Jones' most highly-targeted weapons in 2020. He turns 26 in September.
Engram is the TE4 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 110.6 targets, 67.2 receptions, 775.4 yards, and 5.3 touchdowns.
