Jaguars' Leonard Fournette working on agility
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette posted videos on Twitter and Instagram that show him working on his agility in Dallas, Texas.
Fournette is entering the final year of his rookie contract after the Jaguars declined his fifth-year option last month. They also reportedly tried and failed to trade Fournette during the NFL Draft. Fournette is set up for lead back duties again, but his passing-game usage could take a hit following the offseason signing of Chris Thompson. Fournette was one of four running backs with at least 100 targets and one of seven running backs with at least 500 receiving yards last year. He should experience some positive touchdown regression in 2020 after scoring only 3 times on 341 touches last season. Fournette became the first player since 2007 with 3 or fewer touchdowns on that many touches.
numberFire's models project Fournette for 228.6 carries, 927.5 rushing yards, 338.4 receiving yards, 46.8 receptions (64.2 targets), and 7.3 touchdowns this season. He's the RB19 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
