Seattle Seahawks fourth-round rookie tight end Colby Parkinson suffered a broken foot while training this offseason, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Parkinson suffered a broken fifth metatarsal in his foot while running a route this offseason. He underwent Jones fracture surgery on June 2 and has since been rehabbing in Seattle. Parkinson is unlikely to have a significant role as a rookie with Greg Olsen, Will Dissly, and Jacob Hollister all on the roster.
Parkinson caught 48 passes for 589 yards and 1 touchdown as a junior in his final season at Stanford. He didn't commit any drops all year.
