Adam Caplan: Jalen Reagor will lead Eagles receivers
Philadelphia Eagles first-round rookie wide receiver Jalen Reagor will lead all Eagles receivers in receptions and snaps this season, predicts NFL insider Adam Caplan.
Caplan has covered the Eagles for a while, so his prediction is noteworthy. Zach Ertz is fully expected to lead the Eagles in both catches and snaps -- as well as targets, yards, and touchdowns -- but Reagor is a solid choice to lead his position group. DeSean Jackson is also a contender to be the Eagles' leading receiver if his health allows it. Alshon Jeffery (foot), on the other hand, currently doesn't have a timetable to return.
numberFire's models expect Reagor to lead Eagles wideouts in receptions (52.0) and yards (640.2) while finishing second to Jeffery in targets (83.1) and touchdowns (4.4). Reagor (WR52) ranks just ahead of Jackson (WR57) and Jeffery (WR60) in our preseason fantasy rankings. Ertz is expected to pace the team across the board with 112.8 targets, 77.3 receptions, 734.8 yards, and 5.8 touchdowns.
