Colts get second-rounder Michael Pittman Jr. under contract
The Indianapolis Colts have signed rookie wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to a four-year contract.
What It Means:
Pittman, the team's first selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, was a dominant presence in his final year at USC, amassing a team-high 101 receptions for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns. Pittman is an excellent deep-ball receiver (493 of those yards came on deep targets) who could see significant playing time right away on the Colts' thin depth chart.
numberFire currently projects Pittman (WR56) to finish with the sixth-most fantasy points among wideouts in this rookie class, with 51.58 receptions for 673.34 yards and 4.17 touchdowns.
