Ravens' Lamar Jackson reportedly 'fine' after jet ski fall
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is "fine" after running into a jet ski on the beach over the weekend, a source tells ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.
In a video posted to social media, Jackson was seen running into and falling over a parked jet ski while playing football on the beach. Despite an awkward tumble, it appears the reigning NFL MVP should be fine. Jackson previously said he expects to run less in 2020 after racking up 323 carries through his first two seasons. He had the 23rd-most carries (176) in the league last year and broke his own single-season record for quarterbacks. Not surprisingly, the workload resulted in the most rushing yards ever by a quarterback in a single season (1,206). Jackson also led the league with 36 passing touchdowns despite finishing just 40th overall in passing attempts per game (26.6).
Jackson is the highest-ranked player in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 3,556.3 passing yards with 28.5 touchdowns and 10.5 interceptions. They also don't believe Jackson will reel it in as a runner, as he's projected to take off 170.6 times for 859.8 yards and 7.4 touchdowns.
