Vikings' Dalvin Cook expected to hold out
Adam Schefter reports that Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook intends to hold out until the team offers him a 'reasonable deal.'
This will certainly be a storyline to monitor this offseason. Cook has been one of the top backs in the league when healthy, but health has been a serious concern dating back to his high school days. The Vikings are a very run-focused team, but between Cook's injuries and the team drafting Alexander Mattison in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, this situation does not yet have a clear resolution in place.
If Cook and the Vikings get a deal done this offseason, numberFire projects him to finish as the RB4 on the season with 241.69 fantasy points. Alexander Mattison would be the immediate beneficiary if Cook's holdout does continue into the season.
